LAURA FRANCES COYNE
LAURA COYNE ​
With an interest in the female form and the ideas of beautifying and the normalisation of these beautifying procedures within society, Laura creates paintings and figures using the medium of paint, collage and ceramics.
Staging was a key aspect within the photography stage of the work, as Laura uses film stills as a source imagery for her artworks, but recently has taken to using found imagery alongside these film stills to create collages which act as preliminary sketches, but also become incorporated within the 3D works.
Laura Coyne is an artist who graduated from Leeds Arts University with a First Class degree in Fine Art and is currently studying her Masters Degree in Fine Art at Manchester School of Art.
